Have a wildlife tour in Lake Mburo Game Park and get exposed to many species hosted in the park. Lake Mburo national park is located in the western part of Uganda near the Kampala – Masaka – Mbarara highway, this park is different from other parks as it’s the best park to view gigantic eland, impala, zebras and acacia associated birds. Common mammal species hosted in the park include warthogs, buffaloes, oribi, defassa, water bucks, and reed bucks and eland antelopes.

In Uganda very early in morning after your breakfast you will be leaving for your journey with your guide from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park via Masaka – Mbarara tarmac highway and you will have a stopover at the equator for some photographs, adventure and some snacks as well and thereafter proceed with the journey and you will have your lunch at Rwakobo Rock Lodge in the park and there after proceed with the game drive into Lake Mburo national park.
There other various activities in Lake Mburo National Park therefore, the next day very early in the morning after your breakfast you will go for game drive and this is the park’s activity which provides you with a great opportunity of spotting many bird species hosted in the park like shoe bill, papyrus ,yellow warbler, African fin foot ,saddle billed stork ,brown chested wattled plover, carrutter’s cisticola, tabora cisticola, great snipe and others, mammal species like warthogs, buffaloes, oribi ,defassa and others, zebras and are sighted in different game tracks.
There is also boat cruise which is another interesting activity in Lake Mburo and this is where you also get a chance of seeing a variety of wildlife like crocodiles, hippos, and other bird species. Nature walks are also done and conducted on foot with the help of an armed guide who explains to you about the various flora and fauna.
Later you can visit the various attractions like Rwonyo rest camp, salt licks, conservation education centre and thereafter your tour will be done and the next day will be for leaving Lake Mburo National Park back to Kampala via Mbarara – Masaka high way for your return flight from Entebbe Airport back home with a great experience about the wildlife of Lake Mburo National Park.
